This anime short contained likable characters, was very humorous, extremely entertaining, and a must watch in my opinion. boku wa hima ga nakatta kara, ichi nichi uchi ni hikkonde otta. I went into watching this having little to no expectations and upon completion was astounded and highly entertained. Goes along try to make sense of his Osakan little sister, and Kaede (the Little sister's best friend) helps round out the cast.

The series focus on fraternal twins Yori and Iku, who fall in love with one another despite being siblings. Originally serialized in Shjo Comic, the individual chapters were published in ten tankbon volumes by Shogakukan from May 2003 until August 2005. Namika (the little sister) is cute, lovable, and 100% Osakan, Kyousuke (the brother) generally I Love My Younger Sister) is manga series by Kotomi Aoki. The brother and sister pair well together (as true brother and sister). The animation is not all that impressive and the voice cast is limited as is the case with most shorts, but it still doesn't take away from the characters or the story.

Overall: Overall the OVA wasn't the best out there but it wasn't the worst, it really brings out the theme that romance isn't always perfect out there, love cannot overcome all obstacles but we can always try our best to maintain it.I have seen my fair share of anime shorts, this was quite possibly one of the most enjoyable ones I seen so far.Д«oku no Imouto wa 'Osaka Okan' is a show full of humor as it playful shows off and explains numerous stereotypes of people from Osaka. The only objection I have to the whole thing was the portrayal of sexual acts between the characters because they weren't even in high school yet (personally I am a strong believer of sex after marriage so that's why I knocked down my ratings a little bit) but all in all I'd say it was quite good. Basically what character development consisted of was resolving inner conflict and realization of personal feelings.Д®njoyment: I would say i really enjoyed this OVA as it conveys love in a different light however it doesn't throw it out of context rather it keeps a very realistic feel to it. There wasn't really much space for character development as their love interests were already set from the beginning. Sound: Well the sound wasn't very noticeable only does the OP and ED really stand out, the OP is just instrumentals that convey a relaxed, tranquil mood while the ED is some random rock group that personally I thought had very bad taste in making music.Д¬haracter: The characters weren't out of the ordinary rather Iku is just a cheerful young girl while Yori is a frustrated teen that can't seem to calm his emotions. The story at first seems to drag along and then suddenly jump start into a really fast pace and then slow down to a slow jogging pace.ДЄrt: The first impression of the art reminds me of a typical shoujo manga as the character's hair seem silky and long, the art of the environment is what really caught my attention as everything seemed rather life like (except the school grounds) but the art was pretty good other than that there really isn't much that makes the art appealing. There isn't much story either rather it conveys the emotional struggle that the siblings experience during their daily lives. The story is basically as you know it, forbidden love that cannot flourish for obvious reasons and the emotional conflict that comes as a result. Story: The story was not your most original however actually incorporating the genre of incestuous relationships is for me a first for anime.
